How We Work / About
A Different Kind of Growth Partner
The best growth partners don't just bring expertise. They bring judgment, perspective, and the ability to create momentum.
After decades leading growth across startups, founder-led businesses, private equity-backed companies, and established brands, I've learned that every business is different. That's why I don't come in with a predetermined playbook. I quickly learn about the business, identify opportunities, and focus on the priorities that will achieve business objective - whether immediate quick wins or longer-term growth.
I've worked across many industries (wellness, health, consumer, food, education, tech), business models, and functions because I genuinely enjoy solving new challenges. Every engagement is different, and that's exactly what I love about this work.
I don't believe most companies need another consultant or more ideas. Often, they simply need an experienced operator who can bring clarity, align the team, and keep the work moving.
My Philosophy
I don't see growth as a marketing problem. I see it as a business challenge that is sometimes solved through marketing solutions. But not always.
Growth happens when strategy, sales, marketing, customer experience, operations, people, and execution are working together and focused on the right priorities.
That's why I begin by understanding the business before recommending solutions. I focus on identifying what's truly limiting growth, cutting through the noise, and helping teams prioritize the initiatives that will have the greatest impact.
The answer isn't always more marketing, more technology, or more resources. More often, it's better prioritization, stronger execution, and clearer decision-making.
What Working Together Looks Like
Understand
I learn the business, its customers, goals, team dynamics, and constraints before recommending solutions. Every recommendation starts with context, not assumptions.
Prioritize
Most companies don't need more ideas. They need greater clarity about what matters most. Together, we identify the few initiatives that will create meaningful business impact.
Lead
Whether I'm serving as a fractional executive, interim leader, advisor, or strategic partner, I work alongside founders and leadership teams to build alignment, remove obstacles, and keep progress moving.
Strengthen
Sometimes the right answer is strengthening the existing team. Other times it's hiring great talent, improving agency partnerships, or bringing in specialized expertise. My role is to build the capabilities the business actually needs, not create unnecessary complexity or dependency.
What You Can Expect
I believe great partnerships are built on trust, practicality, and shared accountability.
When I join a business, my goal isn't to disrupt the culture or prove how much I know. It's to become a trusted extension of the leadership team, earn credibility quickly, and help people do their best work.
Clients tell me they appreciate that I'm:
Low ego, highly collaborative, and easy to work with
Practical, candid, and solutions-oriented
Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
Focused on business outcomes, not fancy presentations
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Someone who builds momentum without creating unnecessary disruption or friction
At the end of every engagement, I want the business to be stronger than when I arrived, and for the team to feel more capable, aligned, and confident than before.
